Peak Construction is owned and operated by Kevin and Judy Huggett, who first met while teaching skiing on Snoqualmie Pass.
Not long after, they began installing roofs together-building both a business and a partnership grounded in hard work and shared values.
Over the years, they balanced their work in construction with a deep commitment to the local community, including active involvement in Search and Rescue in Kittitas County. In addition to responding to missions, they have trained multiple Labrador retrievers for specialized search work, including Human Remains Detection, avalanche search, air scent tracking for missing persons, and water recovery.
Today, Kevin and Judy continue that tradition of service alongside their 6-year-old black lab, Moxie, who is actively trained in search and rescue. That same mindset-showing up when needed, doing the work the right way, and being part of the community-carries through to every project Peak Construction takes on.
Their dogs-and their team-have assisted in locating lost hunters, hikers, berry and mushroom pickers, avalanche victims, and drowning victims. They were also part of the response to the Oso landslide disaster.
