Peak Construction Services, LLC is owned and operated by Kevin and Judy Huggett, who first met while teaching skiing on Snoqualmie Pass.
Not long after, they began installing roofs together-building both a business and a partnership grounded in hard work and shared values.
Along the way, they built more than a business. They balanced their work in construction and love of the outdoors with a deep commitment to the local community.
For many years, both Kevin and Judy volunteered with Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue as firefighters and EMTs, responding to emergencies involving local residents, ski area visitors, outdoor enthusiasts, and freeway travelers crossing the pass.
After training a black Labrador for Avalanche Rescue work at the ski area, they became deeply involved with the Search and Rescue Dog Group in Kittitas County.
In addition to responding to missions, they have trained multiple Labrador Retrievers for specialized search disciplines including Human Remains Detection, Avalanche Searching, Airscent Tracking for missing persons, and Water Recovery.
Their dogs-and their team-have assisted in locating lost hunters, hikers, berry and mushroom pickers, avalanche victims, and drowning victims. They also participated in the response to the Oso landslide.
Today, while retired from the fire service, Kevin and Judy continue that tradition of service alongside their 6-year-old black lab, Moxie, who is actively trained in Search and Rescue. That same mindset-showing up when needed, taking care of people, and doing things the right way-continues to guide every project Peak Construction takes on.
